Midway Metric (“we,” “us”) provides operations software for fair boards and public events. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how to reach us. It covers our marketing site, operator dashboards, and public event portals.
In this product, a client is a fair or event operator who pays for Midway Metric. The public are that client’s visitors, ticket buyers, and returning guests. Login is optional for the public.
Who we are

Information we collect
- Account data — name, email, password (stored as a hash), optional profile photo URL, and role (visitor, staff, vendor, or client operator).
- Client operations data — maps, schedules, vendors, staff, branding, and related records the client puts in the product.
- Public guest data — ticket checkout may collect first name, last name, email, and phone so orders can be looked up later. Find-event and waitlist forms collect email.
- Walkthrough applications — name, email, phone, fair name, role, and notes when someone asks for a walkthrough.
- Payments — card details are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation, last four digits when provided by Stripe, and subscription or ticket status — not full card numbers.
- Usage — pages viewed, device type, and similar analytics so we can keep the product reliable. IP addresses may be hashed for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
How we use it
We use this information to run the product, fulfill ticket orders, support clients, send transactional email (password resets, invites, ticket receipts, walkthrough follow-up), improve the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share data with processors who help us operate the service (for example Stripe for payments, hosting providers, and email delivery). Client operators can see public and ticket data for their own event. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect people on the grounds.
Cookies and sign-in
We use session cookies (and an optional longer “remember me” cookie) to keep you signed in. Google sign-in is optional and uses Google’s own privacy terms for that step.
Retention
We keep account and operations data while the account is active and as needed for tickets, billing, and legal records. You can ask us to delete a visitor account by emailing us. Client operators control most event records for their fair.
Your choices
You can access or update account details in the product where available, or email us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Ticket buyers should also contact the fair that sold the ticket for event-specific questions.
Children
Midway Metric is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will post updates on this page. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy. Related terms are in our Terms of Service.
