Fair map

A fair map app for the grounds you actually have.

Paper maps go stale the first time a booth moves. Midway Metric is a fair map guests open on their phone and staff edit from the office or the midway. The public map and the working map are the same picture.

People use it to find a vendor, a gate, or a lot. Staff use it so yesterday’s printout is not still walking around the grounds.

01

What guests see

The map is part of the fair’s public site. No login is required. It sits next to the schedule, the vendor list, and parking, so wayfinding is not a separate handout.

  • Booths and vendor locations
  • Gates and parking
  • A map that matches the directory, not a scan of last year’s program

02

What staff can edit

How deep the editor goes depends on the plan. The prices below are the same ones on the pricing page.

  • Attendee Lite ($49/month): a pin map, up to 50 markers, for clubs and one-weekend events
  • Community ($145/month): an interactive grounds map, up to 150 custom elements
  • County & Regional ($245/month): a high-capacity map with unlimited pins and filtering
  • State & Enterprise ($349/month): multi-layer zones for large expos and multi-fair networks

Why fairs replace the printed map

Summit County Fair kept grounds layout on paper before Midway Metric. A change that should have been one update became reprints, and then a hunt for whoever still had yesterday’s copy. The map in the product is the fix for that: staff update the grounds, and guests are already looking at the new one.

Community and above are the plans for fairs that draw and maintain their own grounds. Lite is the lighter pin map when the event mainly needs attendees to find a list of places.

A walkthrough is a live look at the map, schedule, and vendor list with your board — not a slide deck of someone else’s fair.
